Services Overview
We are expanding our Internal Medicine department. At the moment our internist is mainly focusing on internal medicine issues of our cancer patients. Cancer survivors are at a significantly higher risk of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, kidney diseases, and liver disease. We work with our patients and institute a follow up plan to detect any such issues early.
Additionally, we are offering diagnosis and management of obesity, hormonal problems, arthritic problems, digestive disorders, lung diseases and nutritional issues. At this time we are not offering inpatient internal medicine care.
When needed we refer our patients to other specialists such as cardiologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, surgeons etc.
I offer specialized care for overall health issues particularly in patients with history of cancer and blood diseases. Such patients are at a higher risk of developing other medical co-morbidities. At times, symptoms of these other disorders are indiscernible from cancer progression or recurrence.
